DuPage County’s 18th Annual
TAKE BACK THE NIGHT
October 2, 2010
4pm – 8:30pm Central Park
104 E. Benton Ave. in Naperville
(this event is free and open to the public and will occur rain or shine!)
The purpose of Take Back the Night is to raise awareness of the problems of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault, prevent future violence, and empower survivors of abuse.
4:00pm -Browse booths by local organizations and displays including The Silent Witness figures, The Clothesline Project, and listen to live music
5:30pm –Keynote speaker- Rhonda Abraham
6:15pm -Survivor Speak-Out and rally
7:30pm -March through downtown Naperville
8:15pm -Closing ceremony by candlelight
